As we grew, it started to become less manageable being non-automated. So we searched to find an automated system that would tie into our financial application.
We’re doing eight to ten thousand transactions a month all on Avalara. We had an acquisition not too long ago and we’re going to be bringing the two companies together and we’re going to be adding even more transactions on a daily basis.
None of the other options were as robust as Avalara. We wanted something we could grow into and not have to re-evaluate every three to five years.
Our Avalara rep has been phenomenal. He’s been attentive, he knows what we’re doing and where we’re going.
All we have to do is look at a dashboard at the end of the month, figure out where it’s at, the tax returns get filed, money comes out of the account. We just have to book the entry.
It was the best thing we did. We get everything we want. We’re in 38 states and five provinces in Canada right now, all through Avalara.
